PLEASE NOTE – The Seat Concepts One Piece Comfort Seat review is in 3 parts:

Part 1Unboxing, First Impressions & Quality (pictorial)
Part 2 – Installation, Looks & Feel (video)
Part 3Touring With The One Piece Comfort Seat

Installation, Looks & Feel
Before moving to the video, let me just add a couple of points. Installing this seat takes seconds and is extremely simple to do. I’ve run into several posts where people have stated that the seat doesn’t fit correctly. I can categorically put your mind at rest and tell you it fits perfectly. The chassis on mine will be identical to the chassis on yours. If you struggle in any way, just watch Steve’s video in Part 1 and you’ll be good to go. Secondly, the difference in comfort between this seat and the stock seat is night and day. Again, posts I’ve read that state the opposite are simply wrong and I’d suggest they must have ordered the seat without stating their correct weight. When mine was ordered I was asked for my naked weight and what my main usage would be. I stated my weight and the usage as being predominantly touring. The seat that arrived was comfy right from the get go and whilst the main practical testing will happen in June/July this year whilst touring Europe, it’s already blindingly obvious that the Seat Concepts One Piece Comfort Seat is in a whole different league to the stock seat. Now here’s a quick video that will walk you round the seat in place on my 2020 Yamaha Tenere 700.
