I do enjoy manufacturing my own brackets and small parts for my T700 when need be, but I don’t have the equipment or competence to completely re-design and re-build a bike. Thomas Zurawski, however, has both and I’m finding it quite fascinating watching his radical T700 re-design take shape.
Not many would dare to completely remove the tank and replace it with a 25.5L under seat tank that will eventually be manufactured from carbon fibre and kevlar.
Thomas has reduced his T700’s height, increased the length and dramatically reduced the overall weight.
The last time he quoted a weight it was around 161KG and he was hoping to lose even more.. Follow the build for yourself on his YouTube Channel.
