No-one had the raw aluminium extension plate in stock in the UK so I had to settle for the black. The black really annoyed my autistic nature, however, so yesterday I removed the black coating with a finger grinder and Dremel and then sanded it smooth with wet sand paper.

Put it all back together and finally I have what I was after! The plate works brilliantly but if I had some 5mm aluminium plate I could could have made one for under $5. Hey ho, it works and now looks right.

AltRider products are always top notch. Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? I’d say so.
