A plethora of riders have done this before so give me zero credit for this modification. In fact, a member of a forum I’m part of posted something very similar just a few days ago and that post inspired me to do this. A few years ago I purchased 3 MAX PELI style cases and they were and are brilliant. I’ve owned a few actual PELI cases and these MAX cases are just as good at a fraction of the price. I also wanted a low profile case and again the ones I already owned fit the bill perfectly. What I really liked about Toppie’s mod was the rack he installed on the top. That seriously increased the capacity of the 20L MAX case whilst leaving the setup low profile when extra capacity was not required.. Smart!
