After lowering the Overland Rider T700 by a whole 40mm, the OEM side stand simply doesn’t support the bike correctly. I recently took another look at the crash bar sliders that came with the Adventure Spec crash bars for my T700. Have to say they’re not great! I’ve not seen this in the previous 7 months of ownership but suddenly my T700 brake discs are beginning to suffer from rust. They are rarely subjected to wet riding but occasionally we’ll head out in the rain. Whitey66’s (from tenere700.net) T700 quick release seat kit (now sold by Rally Raid) is a useful mod and saves fiddling around with a hex tool to get your main rider seat released.
